A full rebuild for a Leeds Reiki and SOMA® Breath practitioner, taking her from a website-builder page to a custom site where clients book, pay and join group journeys online.
The challenge
Liv first came to me as a brand new business entering a crowded market, and I created her brand, print and first website to get her established quickly. As the practice grew, that original site couldn't keep up: it couldn't take bookings or payments, there was nowhere to promote her group SOMA® Breath journeys, and any move had to protect the search visibility she had built for searches like "Reiki Leeds". She needed a calm, beautiful site that handled bookings for her without feeling clinical or clichéd.
The solution
I rebuilt the site as a custom WordPress theme with a soft, nature-led design around Liv's own photography, and she can edit every page and even reorder the homepage herself. At its heart is a bespoke booking system: Liv sets her weekly hours and blocked dates, clients choose a time for Reiki, SOMA® Breath or Fusion sessions and pay securely through Square, and two-way iCloud calendar sync means anything in her personal diary automatically blocks that time on the website while every booking appears on her phone. Group journeys and workplace wellbeing sessions have their own events pages, and a testimonials page links straight to her Google reviews. The move from the old site was handled carefully, with every old address redirected, keyword-led page titles, a fresh sitemap and structured data. Booking emails are sent from her own domain and properly authenticated so they reach the inbox. Alongside the website, I designed her logo, print flyers and social media graphics.
Results
- Clients book and pay for sessions online, any time of day
- Two-way iCloud sync keeps Liv's diary and her availability in step
- Moved off the old website builder with every old page redirected to protect search rankings
- 40% of new clients now cite the website as their discovery source
